Up to £60,000 (Based on experience, and PQE)

Puro Associates are looking for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor with a passion for access to justice and solid knowledge of the legal aid scheme to join a prominent law firm in East London who are recognised for its quality and excellence.

The role:

• Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy
• Efficiently manage all allocated casework
• Stay informed on legal developments, particularly within your areas of expertise.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
• Analyse legal issues and offer clients informed advice
• Provide supervision when needed to junior solicitors

About You:

• 1 yr PQE post-qualification experience in community care and/or Court of Protection law
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills, with a natural ability to build effective relationships with clients
• Ability to prioritise your own workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in challenging assessments and care plans
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding duties by local authorities
• Identifying judicial review challenges and potential Court of Protection cases
• Current Practising Certificate
