A well-established company in the East Rand is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team!
Requirements
Degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strong background in accounting
Basic skills in financial analysis and control
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to self-motivate and work independently while keeping to deadlines
Strong communication skills
Key Duties
Reporting and Analysis: Timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including monthly consolidation of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet; support management decisions with financial analysis and ad hoc reports.
Financial Management: Oversee payroll systems, changes, and compliance with legislation; prepare and submit tax calculations and returns (VAT, EMP, IRP6).
Process Optimization and Compliance: Optimize business processes for audits; ensure adherence to internal procedures and external regulations.
Credit Management: Monitor and manage credit limits and standing of counterparties; address late payments and credit issues and maintain relationships with external service providers.
Team Leadership: Lead, evaluate, and develop financial staff; cooperate with accounting for accurate and compliant financial operations.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Handle additional tasks as needed, supporting various financial and operational activities.
