About This Position: iMasFinance Cooperative Limited, a financial services organisation based in Centurion, is looking for a senior manager to assist the GCEO to oversee and report on efficiency improvements in the Group and to run with allocated strategic projects and coordinate the Group's strategic planning processes.
This position reports to the Group CEO and is responsible for the development and implementation of productivity measures and a tracking system to ensure benefits realisation from strategic project deliveries and other efficiency improvements.
The incumbent must lead change, maximise value, engage stakeholders, and respond to risk.
Job Outputs:
- Strategy Execution: Help to identify/define value-added programmes/projects to achieve medium to long-term goals.
- Identify, design, coordinate, implement, measure, and monitor approved organisational-wide and Business Unit programmes/projects.
- Create and implement an agile environment optimizing processes, people, and technology.
- Ensure practices are embedded, reviewed, and corrective action is implemented.
- Propose adjustments to strategies when market conditions demand change.
- Financial And Technology Management: Provide strategic direction to digitise and automate core functions to drive efficiencies and enhance customer experience.
- Evaluate strategic projects in terms of financial viability and set up structures to track performance.
- Manage approved budget and related expenses.
- Evaluate negative trends and recommend remedial solutions.
- Project Management: Ensure programmes/projects are clearly defined within the strategic and operational plans.
- Lead responsibility for allocated corporate projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide consolidated feedback to GCEO and Executive Management against milestones achieved.
- Governance, Compliance And Risk Management: Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to the GCEO and Executive Management.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of organisational standards, policies, and procedures.
- Stakeholder Relations And People Management: Develop and implement a clear communication strategy for all programmes/projects.
- Ensure benefits and results of programmes/projects are communicated across the organisation.
Qualifications:
An MBA degree or Honours degree in Business Management or Commerce is essential.
A Postgraduate Diploma or professional registration in finance, risk management, project management, insurance, lending, banking, or strategic planning is recommended.
A valid driving licence is essential.
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, corporate financing, projects, and financial services, with at least 5 years in senior management and 3 years in executive management.

- People Engagement: Skills to influence, coordinate, and mobilise people across functional boundaries.
