The purpose of this position is to support the National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Pre-owned Manager, Corporate Sales Representative, and Area Sales Managers with administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Sales Department.
Key Performance Areas :
Achieve monthly and yearly invoice projections and forecasts.
Ensure accurate cost allocation to machines before invoicing and verify the accuracy of all commission sheets.
Manage new and used equipment debtors in accordance with company policy.
Communicate with the Regional Sales Manager, sales representatives, and sales administrator to ensure correct submission of rental packs for new and pre-owned documents on a daily and weekly basis.
Handle daily sales administration for new and pre-owned equipment for corporate representatives.
Plan and execute fleet delivery projects for corporate customers effectively.
Verify parameters for accuracy and submit to the Regional Sales Manager and sales administrator for signature daily.
Communicate with national teams regarding stock allocation, VSB management, and SPR allocation for new equipment on a daily basis.
Monitor the stock holding and value of new and pre-owned equipment on a weekly and monthly basis.
Generate invoices for new and pre-owned equipment for corporate customers.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on order intake, lost sales, and key accounts on a monthly, weekly, and as-needed basis.
Produce additional reports as required, including estimates versus actuals, incomplete invoices, and purchase and selling location reports, ensuring they are run and cleared monthly.
Review management accounts daily and weekly to monitor and report anomalies, taking corrective action to rectify errors and discrepancies.
Monitor and report on commission and obsolescence provisions monthly.
Required Minimum Knowledge :
Grade 12 / advantageous if you have Tertiary qualification
Advanced / Expert Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Kerridge / Autoline system
Excellent interpersonal skills, including very strong verbal and grammatically correct written English communication skills
Ability to interact with senior management, excellent communication skills with people at all levels in an organisation
Creativity and the ability to successfully manage multiple assignments independently
Ability to function effectively in a group and add value to the team / environment.
