We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bond Conveyancing Secretary to join our clients dynamic legal team in Witbank / eMalahleni.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conveyancing, particularly in bond registrations and related processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and preparing conveyancing documents for bond registrations.
- Handling bond instructions from financial institutions and ensuring compliance with their requirements.
- Liaising with banks, clients, attorneys, and Deeds Office to facilitate the smooth processing of transactions.
- Ensuring all documents are correctly signed, lodged, and registered within the required timeframes.
- Managing electronic platforms such as GhostPractice, E4, Webconvey, and Lexis Convey.
- Verifying FICA documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing general administrative duties related to bond transactions.
- Keeping track of bond instructions and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bond Conveyancing Secretary.
- Previous exposure to bond registrations with any of the four major banks (Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank, FNB).
- Proficiency in GhostPractice, E4, Webconvey, and Lexis Convey.
Salary:
Dependent on Experience (R 15 000.00 – R 25 000.00 CTC per month)
