Job description

We are looking for 2 dynamic, resourceful, and solutions-oriented qualified Conveyancing Attorneys to fulfill either 1) an Estate Agent or 2) Public Relations Officer role in our Cape Town Offices. PLEASE SEE REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE POSITIONS BELOW.

CONVEYANCER / PRO:

You would be expected to work comfortably under pressure with targets to meet (this is a sales-driven position) in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional quality work.

  1. Generate leads and business (this is a sales-driven position)
  2. Meeting agreed-upon monthly targets
  3. Building relations with potential clients (mostly Estate Agents) - meet and greet
  4. Retaining existing clients (mostly Estate Agents) - meet and greet, attending to their business needs at all times
  5. Attend client functions
  6. Have a great relationship with the Conveyancing Secretaries (e.g. meet with Transfer Secretaries to discuss and to sort out any problematic cases)
  7. Keep the Directors informed via email or personally once resolved
  8. Ensure that weekly and monthly client visitation appointments are set
  9. Ensure that all set appointments have been attended to on time
  10. Attend to set and agreed-upon performance meetings with the Director
  11. Ensure that training is provided to our clients where necessary

Skills

  1. Building positive relationships with existing and new clients
  2. Must be driven and result-oriented
  3. Must be able to work independently
  4. Very motivated
  5. Good problem-solving skills, communication skills, and must have had previous experience in acquiring clients, handling clients, and client services
  6. Qualified Conveyancing Attorney
  7. 3 years' experience as a PRO in Conveyancing
  8. Need to have marketing experience as this is a sales-driven position
  9. Must have experience working for an attorney firm
  10. Need to have own transport

ESTATE MANAGER:

Requirements and skills

  1. Proven experience as an Estates manager (+/- 5 years)
  2. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  3. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  4. Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  5. Excellent knowledge of related systems
  6. Good understanding of market research methods
  7. Business acumen - a hunger to grow the Estates department
