Control Tower Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the delivery of stock to our clients across South Africa.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate logistics efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
6. Knowledge of South African transportation regulations and practices.
7. Experience with inventory management systems.
8. Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping.
9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel if required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordination of Deliveries: Plan and manage the delivery schedule to ensure timely delivery of stock to clients.
2. Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory management.
4. Documentation: Prepare and maintain all necessary shipping and delivery documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs documentation.
5. Problem Solving: Address any delivery issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
6. Tracking: Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to monitor shipments and report on delivery statuses.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies regarding the handling and transportation of goods.
8. Client Communication: Maintain communication with clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, and other relevant information.
