CAPAGO is a French provider of outsourcing services for European governments and their diplomatic missions, responsible for financing and managing visa application centers to process their Schengen visa applications. We currently operate in 10 countries and welcome more than 250,000 visa applicants each year.
As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Control Center Department and are looking for an experienced English-speaking Control Center Officer (Compliance Officer), who is dedicated to join our team.
DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
The main mission of the Control Center Officer is to manage and coordinate various systems but also to protect facilities and monitor the security systems of the center. His main responsibility is to ensure that operations at Capago comply with the legal regulations as well as internal policies and bylaws.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Compliance Officer you will be responsible for:
- Ongoing, proactive risk assessment for all new and existing systems in all branches so effective controls can be put in place.
- Implement information security strategies, both short-term and long-term as per the Manager's instructions.
- Evaluate security incidents and determine what response, if any, is needed when there are technical incidents, as well as when sensitive information is breached.
- Contribute to the overall success of Capago by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Develop and review company policies.
- Conduct periodic assessment of the organisation’s operations to ensure they are in line with external and internal regulations.
- Conduct investigations on non-conformities.
- Develop and implement strategies necessary for minimising risk of non-compliance.
- Produce and interpret reports of inspection to provide information useful in the outcome of audits.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of specialised and general policies in order to effectively manage risks.
- Monitor compliance risk controls to identify deviations and put forward recommendations on the management of compliance issues.
- Elaborate policy details to Capago management to provide insight and understanding of set laws and procedures.
- Correct and address issues of non-compliance in a manner that limits recurrence and promotes adherence to set rules.
- Liaise with relevant compliance manager/s and colleagues to analyse and develop standards for compliance.
- Auditing company policies and responding to policy violations.
- Prepare for external compliance audits by carrying out internal audits to ensure all regulatory requirements are maintained.
- Perform physical tests on company equipment or environment when conducting compliance inspections.
DIPLOMAS AND EXPERIENCE
