Contract Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO : Requirements :

• Experience with sheet metal essential.
• Experience in lagging, insulation and cladding will be beneficial.
• Higher education in construction management / building studies, quantity surveying or related.
• Health and Safety Training essential.
• Industrial Relations Skills (handling staff effectively, discipline, etc).
• Be able to understand and communicate in English and Afrikaans (Third language is advantageous).
• Proven experience of at least 3+ years working as a Contracts Manager / Supervisor or related management experience, especially in the Construction Industry.
• Experience in working with big teams.
• Health and Safety Management experience.
• Experience in interpreting plans and drawings.
• Scaffolding Erecting experience (advantageous).
• Working at Heights Experience (advantageous).

About :

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating every aspect of a project, from its planning to completion.

Responsibilities :

• Supervising the teams and sub-contractors used for each project to ensure optimal efficiency and high-quality service at all times.
• Assisting with ordering and obtaining supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and managing employees. The Contracts Manager will also require efficient Health and Safety training and understanding.

Salary :

• R20,000 - R22,000
• Kindly note as you will be a manager there will be no "overtime" payments for this role.
