Are you a content writer with the skills to write in specialized subjects? The Publishing Division at Berea College of Technology, a leading private higher educational institution, has vacancies for content writers.

Specialization:

• Computer Application Technology
• Hospitality Studies
• Engineering Graphic & Designs
• English
• History
• Information Technology
• IsiZulu
• Mathematics
• Tourism Studies

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of academic study materials.
• Assessments.
• Creation of online tools for learning.

Competencies Required:

• Outstanding command of English, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong/advanced writing ability.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate through Word with ease (layout, line spacing, numbering, diagrams, tables, etc.).
• Excellent research skills.
• Knowledge of online tools/platforms.
• Positive attitude with the ability to take instruction and follow through.
• Deadline-driven, with the ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Qualification/Experience:

• Degree or higher in the relevant subject matter.
• 1-2 years of solid writing experience.
