About The Job

The Content Writer is responsible for creating compelling and engaging content for both traditional communications channels and digital marketing platforms.

This role requires a versatile writer who can effectively convey the company's message across various mediums, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Traditional Communications
   • Write press releases, articles, and newsletters for print and online publications.
   • Develop content for corporate communications, including internal memos, speeches, and reports.
   • Craft clear and persuasive copy for brochures, flyers, and other marketing collateral.
   • Collaborate with the PR team to develop media kits and other press materials.
   • Ensure all traditional communication materials are aligned with the company's tone and style.
2. Digital Marketing Content Creation
   • Create high-quality content for the company's website, blog, and social media platforms.
   • Develop and implement content strategies that drive traffic and engagement.
   • Write SEO-optimized articles, product descriptions, and landing page copy.
   • Collaborate with the marketing team to create email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional emails.
   • Generate creative content ideas to support digital marketing campaigns.
   • Monitor and analyse the performance of digital content and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in content writing for both traditional and digital platforms.
3. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
4. Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
5. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with HTML / CSS is a plus.
6. Experience with social media platforms and content strategies.
7. Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and mediums.
8. Strong research skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
10. Experience within the financial services industry would be advantageous.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create visually appealing content.
2. Familiarity with video content creation and editing.
3. Understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
4. Knowledge of content marketing and inbound marketing strategies.
