Job Description

Job Title: Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities

1. Cold calling, marketing, and selling of Netstar tracking applications and solutions to the Insurance channel.
2. Prospect and target new insurance customers.
3. Increase market share in the Insurance channel.
4. Manage and increase the pipeline.
5. Achieve or exceed allocated sales targets as set out by management.
6. Build relationships with Insurers, Insurance Brokers, Insurance Underwriting Managers, and Insurance Administrators.
7. Generate and increase sales and fitments of Netstar units and services.
8. Deliver an efficient and effective service to both internal and external clients.
9. Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement, prospective sales opportunities, and penetration.
10. Complete sales reports timeously and update CRM daily with all relevant activities.
11. Network to improve Netstar's presence, reputation, and sales in the insurance segment.
12. Accurate and timeous record keeping and claiming of commissions.
13. Share knowledge with colleagues on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or NQF level 4

Diploma in sales (advantageous)

Experience Required

2-4 years of direct sales experience
