Description

PURPOSE

We are looking for an individual with established relationships and a network of Cardiologists. Understanding our product portfolio is key, particularly stents and guidewires.

Reports to Sales Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure Market & Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market drivers, competition, market positioning, and industry evolutions.
    • Understand customer requirements and preferences.
    • Collaborate with marketing to implement product and technical support strategies.
  • Manage sales activities for assigned products or territories.
  • Set targets and price levels in consultation with the Sales Manager and track progress.
  • Analyse sales performance and propose corrective actions to achieve objectives.
  • Contribute to gross profit and sales development goals for specific product groups or territories.
  • Market analysis: Identify trends and conditions to inform product manager and sales manager strategies.
  • Implement Marketing & Sales Strategy:
    • Execute defined strategies and develop tactics to improve sales and profitability.
    • Explore new sales methods and opportunities.
    • Establish effective sales channels and improve product quality.
    • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
    • Develop strong ties with external stakeholders, authorities, and organizations.
  • Manage Conferences:
    • Represent the company at local conferences, congresses, trade shows, and other events.
  • Train Internal & External Customers:
    • Design and deliver training programs for external and internal customers.
  • QA/RA Procedures:
    • Handle complaints and issues.
  • General:
    • Submit regular reports to ensure smooth communication and information exchange.
    • Serve as a representative of the company towards various third parties.
    • Assume additional responsibilities and authorities as needed.

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and principles.
  • Prior experience working with Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists/Cardiologists or related fields is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and drive to succeed.
