We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team for an exciting windfarm project. This role requires a candidate who is willing to relocate to Witberg or Eastern Cape and is ready to manage the complexities of a large-scale renewable energy project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Manage daily activities of the construction team, including subcontractors, to maintain productivity and high-quality output.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to the Construction and Project Managers.
- Implement and maintain company quality standards in line with SANS, ISO, SABS, and IEC requirements.
- Ensure timely availability and optimal use of materials and equipment.
- Monitor attendance, manage performance, and address training and development needs within the team.
- Enforce compliance with health and safety procedures, taking immediate corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management, particularly in large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and techniques.
- Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and adapt to project needs.
