Construction Sales Representative

CONSTRUCTION SALES REPRESENTATIVE (GAUTENG, KZN, FS)

Overview: Achieve sales targets, action plans, and goals as set by management, by effectively servicing new and existing customers and increasing sales of various construction products.

Duties:

1. Servicing customers by effectively maintaining a regular call pattern.
2. Forming a dynamic business relationship with customers.
3. Acquire new customers and new business.
4. Increase sales at existing customers.
5. Ensure that customers always have sufficient stock.
6. Problem solving.
7. Maintain a professional business attitude in all daily transactions.
8. Maintain sound administration practices, i.e., reports.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of an N5 Engineering with technical drawings as a subject.
2. Experience working on a construction site (Site Agent or similar).
3. Minimum 5 years construction and/or industrial product selling experience.
4. A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous.
5. Good knowledge of different construction products and clients.
6. Applicant must be willing to do country trips when required.
7. Applicant must be willing to work flexible hours, when called upon to do so.
8. In possession of a valid unendorsed driver's license.

Remuneration:

Negotiable package (R22k to R25k) plus Co Car, fuel allowance, and commission.
