Our client, a construction company with experience in a range of commercial projects.to join their team.

Main purpose of the position:
Responsible for setting and maintaining production targets and operating within prescribed cost budgets. This includes coordinating and controlling the activities of site staff and agreeing on quality standards set out in contract, liaising with clients, site staff and agreeing on quantities, programmes and submitting monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates, as well as setting and maintaining work sequences and construction programmes.

Key Performance Areas:

Procurement of Raw Materials and Packaging:

• Overseeing all construction site activities.
• Ensuring compliance with site quality control standards and procedures.
• Managing plant, operators, equipment and materials, site administration, safety requirements, programming, and human resources.
• Report to the Managing Director the potential risks and liabilities involved with projects.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, engineers, subcontractors, and new contacts.

Legal Requirements:

• No criminal record
• Valid Driver's licence

MINIMUM Requirements:

Experience:

8+ years' experience in building construction (Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Refurbishments)

Education:

Matric/Grade 12

BSc / BTech / Ndip (Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management)

R720 000.00 p/a ctc (negotiable based on experience)
