Job Description

To ensure the implementation of the Group's compliance frameworks and programmes in consultation with the business, ensuring conformance and adherence with regulations, delivered through a team of Compliance resources/specialists.

Ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures, especially regulatory and ethical standards.

Perform regular audits, design control systems, and help to design and implement company policies.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and drive compliance initiatives.
2. Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape, with the ability to interpret and apply compliance requirements effectively.
3. Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes compliance matters.
4. Enhance and advance the compliance profile.
5. Establish, monitor, and drive compliance key risk indicators.
6. Apply critical thinking skills with a strategic and analytical approach to problem solving.
7. Leverage innovation and technology to improve compliance functions.
8. Resolve conflicts effectively, navigating complex situations diplomatically.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree.
2. Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field.
3. Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
