A full-service law firm offering legal advice to UK and international businesses as well as individuals and families is seeking a Legal Compliance Assistant to assist with the administration of the firm’s internal compliance function on a day-to-day basis.

Minimum requirements for the role :
Must have a relevant tertiary qualification
Legal administration and compliance as well as internal compliance experience is essential
Must be driven and engaged with all stakeholders
Strong administrative skills are essential
Must be proficient in English
Must be able and willing to work UK hours as required
The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Performing compliance file verifications and liaising with the Compliance Manager regarding any remedial actions and associated follow-up.
Maintaining compliance registers as required by SRA, ICO, and other relevant bodies.
Organising firm-wide in-person training and maintaining the firm’s online training platform.
Assisting with new starter compliance engagement.
Maintaining the firm’s training registers.
Assisting with maintaining the firm’s SRA records.
Assisting with practising certificate renewals.
Handling general compliance record keeping and monitoring.
