The successful Commercial Manager will be responsible for :

  • Extensive travel to fleet managers, manufacturing and Production OEM companies across South Africa.
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Leading a team to achieve set sales targets in the South African market.
  • Building strong relationships with key industry players to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinating with various internal departments to facilitate sales operation activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations in South Africa.
  • Reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competition strategies.
  • Providing insightful feedback and recommendations to company leadership.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Commercial Manager should have :

  • A proven track record in sales within the tyre industry.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities to guide a high-performing team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the South African market and industry trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure profitable contracts.
  • An analytical mindset to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Must be based in Gauteng, South Africa.
  • Proficient in English; Afrikaans advantageous.
