RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain, diagnose, and repair multiple types of refrigeration systems, as well as all mechanical and electrical components related to the equipment (such as self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, etc.)
2. Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers
3. Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems and identify specifications that are required
4. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration
5. Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors
6. Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary
7. Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work van

SKILLS:

1. Good judgement for use of supplies and materials in refrigeration repairs
2. Attention to detail and critical analysis for diagnostics and work performed
3. Professional communication skills
4. Mechanical aptitude

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 2+ years prior HVAC/R experience
2. Be available for ON CALL work as needed
3. Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed

BONUS POINTS:

1. Universal EPA License
2. Electrical License
3. 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration / HVAC experience
4. Related education/certification in HVAC and refrigeration industry
