They are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive their commercial strategy, manage financial and business operations, and build key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s supply chain, procurement, and business operations to ensure financial growth and sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts, and build strong supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and service excellence.
- Contract Negotiation and Risk Management: Manage commercial agreements with vendors and suppliers while mitigating procurement risks related to supply chain disruptions and market volatility.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in setting financial targets, budget planning, and monitoring overall commercial performance.
- Inventory and Logistics Management: Ensure optimal stock availability, streamline logistics, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
- Stakeholder and Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and department heads, to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
- Tendering Process Management: Manage the entire tendering process from issuing RFQs (Request for Quotation) or RFPs (Request for Proposal) to conducting comparative evaluations of offerings.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all commercial activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain/Procurement Management, or a related field. Certification in Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
- 8+ years of experience in a commercial management role within the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
- Proven expertise in procurement, supply chain, and contract management.
- Strong negotiation and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and supplier agreements.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Excel, and analytical tools for reporting and inventory planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and collaboration across departments.
