Job Purpose To ensure the secure transportation, loading, and offloading of seafood products in accordance with instructions, while upholding food safety, quality standards, and timely deliveries.
Minimum Requirements
Matric or equivalent.
Valid Code 14 Driver’s license with no endorsements.
Experience needed: Experience with cold store trucks advantageous. 3-5 years proven track record operating a truck in compliance with the Relevant Code 14 Requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety compliance
Drive safely and adhere to road regulations
Maintain the security of goods in transit
Follow scheduled delivery routes and times
Ensure delivery notes and invoices are accurately completed
Comply with customer and supplier delivery area protocols
Uphold Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times
Assist with manual loading/offloading of stock when required
Immediately report any delays or inability to meet delivery targets to the line manager
