CNC milling machine operator
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during the overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
- Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
- Aligning and testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participating in safety audits and adhering to workplace safety policies and regulations.
- Operating the CNC and manual milling machines to produce precision components for industrial knives and blades.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Selecting and installing appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workpieces based on the Job Specifications.
- Setting up the milling machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Requirements:
- Qualified Trade.
- Minimum 3-5 years of milling machine operator and setter experience.
