Job description

An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Clinical Resource Nurse. Working within our Flynn Lodge facility in Alice Springs, this position is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and offers an attractive remuneration package including salary packaging and flexible working conditions.

This exciting role will see you as an instrumental part of the development and execution of clinical care within our Aged Care facility.

Reporting to our Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide person-centered care to our residents whilst also working as a leadership support.

You will provide advice, guidance, and training to our other clinical staff including Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers on legislation and ARRCS policies to ensure the facilities execute and maintain the highest level of care.

As the successful candidate, you will bring to the organisation a background and knowledge working as a Registered Nurse.

Your experience will also demonstrate experience in the leading, mentoring, and/or training of clinical staff.

In addition, you will be a positive and engaging employee, you will enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with other staff and be ambitious to be in a role that supports future development into management.

Remuneration and benefits of working with ARRCS:

  1. Penalty driven hourly rate of an Aged Care Registered Nurse Level 3 - $42.30 / hour - $47.93 - $50.54 / hour ($94, - $99,) gross base + hourly $50K bonus.
  2. $50, ($25.30 / hr) PA salary bonus for your first 2 years of employment.

  5. Access to a skilled and resourced in-house Clinical Education team to support you not only on Aged Care legislation, but to continue to work with you with personal, clinical, and professional development.
  6. Employment terms under a lucrative enterprise agreement which allows for overtime rates, weekend, evening shifts, public holiday rates, and additional allowances.
  7. Relocation support of up to $5.

Skills & experience:

  1. Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  2. Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
  3. Full working rights to work in Australia – This package is not offered on a sponsorship basis.
  4. A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse (in addition to graduate placements) – With preference within a geriatric or aged care environment however, not essential.
  5. Prior experience working within a junior leadership or mentoring role.
  6. Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
  7. Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
  8. Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
  9. Ability to meet and obtain mandatory compliance requirements as stated below.
