Clinical Operations Manager - Logistics and Vendor Set Up - Johannesburg

Parexel is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Operations professional to join us; you will be assigned to one of our key sponsors in the region.

Working as a Clinical Operations Manager, specifically for Logistics and Vendor setup, you’ll be responsible for overseeing vendor setup and trial logistics for assigned studies across South Africa, Kenya, and Uganda.

• Dedicated to one client.
• Overseeing vendor setup and activation for assigned studies across multiple categories (couriers, CRO, eCOA/ePROA, IRT, etc).
• Ensuring any vendor setup issues are flagged and resolved.
• Working with the wider study team to ensure support is provided as needed.
• Identify and resolve any risks to the successful delivery of assigned trials.

Here are a few requirements specific to this advertised role.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance/Administration/Life Science or equivalent healthcare-related experience required.
• 5-7 years clinical research or combined experience in Clinical Research and Finance/Business required.
• Expertise of core clinical systems, tools, and metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written influencing and training/mentoring skills, in local language and English.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Experience working with and setting up clinical trial vendors (multiple categories).
