The Clinical Manager at Tygerberg Hospice is responsible for overseeing and managing all nursing, social work, and clinical training functions. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and the effective management of clinical staff. The Clinical Manager will also be involved in the development and implementation of training programs for nursing staff, promoting professional growth and maintaining high standards of care within the organization.

Qualifications:
NQF8 Nursing Qualification
Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior clinical or nursing management role.
Experience in palliative care or hospice settings is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in staff management, training, and development.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage complex clinical operations and make strategic decisions.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Proficient in clinical auditing and quality improvement processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:
The role may require travel between Tygerberg Hospice sites and external training locations.
Occasional after-hours work will be required for emergencies or special projects.
