Our client, a Surgeon based in Rustenburg, is seeking to employ a full-time Clinical Associate.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
Identify patients' needs and problems with effective listening.
Take relevant history.
Perform an accurate and relevant physical examination.
Ward rounds.
Assisting in theatre & room procedures.
Utilise diagnostic tools effectively.
Ensure continuity of care by making arrangements for follow up and review.
Apply basic ethical principles.
Recognise and appropriately manage ethical problems and refer when necessary.
Comply with statutory and professional obligations.
Demonstrate appropriate and sensitive attitudes to patient, family and colleagues.
Demonstrate reliability in work situations.
Compiling medical reports, feedback reports to GPs, medicolegal reports, and transcribing.
Appropriately answer and complete patient referral letters.
Filing and record keeping.
Accurately complete patient statistics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Matric
Relevant Qualification: Batchelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP)
2 - 3 years' experience in a private setting will be an advantage
HPCSA Registration
Valid driver's license and own transport
Skills and Attributes:

Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
