An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Relationship Manager (CIB-FI) in Johannesburg.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building and maintaining relationships with clients, particularly within the Financial Institution sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the client base through tailored marketing strategies, dealing with client requests, and ensuring compliance with relevant banking legislation.

What you'll do:

As a Client Relationship Manager (CIB-FI), your role will be pivotal in developing and nurturing relationships with clients within the Financial Institution sector.

  1. Acquire and onboard new FI customers, both Banking and Non-Banking Financial Institutions.
  2. Expand allocated client base through tailored marketing strategies.
  3. Deal with all client requests as the primary point of contact.
  4. Ensure compliance with AML, FICA, Company's Act, Banks Act, and other high-risk legislations affecting the banking environment.
  5. Analyse and evaluate company financial statements independently and as part of a team.

What you bring:

As a Client Relationship Manager (CIB-FI), you bring a wealth of skills to our team.

  1. Your degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields from one of the top 5 SA Universities sets a solid foundation for your role.
  2. Your status as a Registered FAIS Representative further enhances your credibility.
  3. With at least 3 years of Corporate Banking experience under your belt, particularly in the local market, you are well-versed in industry practices.
  4. Being bilingual in English and Mandarin would give you an edge.
  5. Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with clients while your interpersonal skills foster strong relationships.
  6. As a team player who is motivated and accurate in completing tasks, you are a valuable asset to our team.
