Cleaner (Male Candidates Preferred)

Job Description : The Copperworks / Aluworks department currently has a vacancy for a hardworking, dedicated individual to join their team.

The successful candidate will:

1. Cleaning of floors and work areas
2. Clean, dust, and polish furniture and fittings
3. Sweeping and mopping of floors
4. Cleaning of walls and windows
5. Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen, toilet, and bathroom fixtures and floors
6. Empty and clean waste containers daily
7. Clean areas surrounding buildings, such as paths and entrances
8. Overall and general housekeeping on a daily basis
9. Abide by the regulations as set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Qualifying Experience:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Minimum of 1 – 3 years relevant working experience
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision
5. Knowledge of Health and Safety Rules
6. Ability to work under challenging conditions
7. Sound communication skills (understand, read and write English)
8. Must be prepared to work overtime when required
