Role Overview:

• Position: Part-Time Primary Class Teacher (Year 6).
• Schedule: 19.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday).
• Contract: Maternity Cover from 1st February 2025 to 31st August 2025.
• Salary: £36,413 - £52,068 (Main Pay Scale to Upper Pay Scale), pro-rata.
• Location: Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, with excellent transport links.

What You Will Do as a Primary Class Teacher:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach creative and stimulating lessons that inspire a love for learning.
• Support Year 6 Pupils: Help pupils prepare for their transition to secondary school by offering academic and emotional support.
• Foster a Positive Environment: Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with a talented and enthusiastic staff team to share ideas and best practices.
• Track Progress: Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

We Are Looking for a Primary Class Teacher Who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Has Experience in KS2: Ideally with experience teaching Year 6.
• Is Passionate About Teaching: Committed to delivering high-quality education and achieving excellent outcomes for pupils.
