Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to employ a HR and HS Coordinator.
Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric
A qualification in HR or relevant
6+ years’ experience in the manufacturing sector
HR and Payroll experience
HR administration and employee relations experience

Responsibilities:
General & Meetings
Daily HR Check in / employee absenteeism
Daily Management Review
HR & Payroll
Weekly Time sheets
Clock machine corrections - miss punches
Leave forms capture and filing
Manhours record keeping
Capture individual hours on payroll system
Pay slips fold and handout
Managing the Clock system
Monthly employees Clock sheets and attendance records
Monthly employees travel expenses forms to Finance department
Leave forms of monthly employees to accountant
Record keeping of working hours and leave taken for the enhancement pay in December
HR Administration
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Document and arrange for disciplinary hearings.
Attend all CCMA cases.
HR Organogram.
New employee contracts and training documentation.
Handle employee inquiries and provide information and guidance on HR-related matters.
Disciplinary codes for new employees.
Assist in performance management processes, including conducting employee evaluations and providing feedback.
Order all PPE (Overalls, Safety boots, t-shirts).

Induction training and documentation of Yes program candidates.

HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Health and Safety
Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, including injuries, illnesses, and near misses, and prepare reports for management review.
Coordinate safety training programs for employees on topics such as emergency response, hazard communication, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports.
Monitor and track safety performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and preparing presentations.
Handle emergencies - take injured employees to hospital.
Submit all workman's compensation reports to the Department of Labour.
