Role Responsibilities

1. Responsible for all design aspects within the municipal services – from conceptual to final design specific to civil infrastructure.
2. Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation.
3. Prepare reports required by the project, implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all work complies with Zutari's quality control procedures.
4. Ensure that required drawing standards are maintained, construction supervision, and deliver excellent client service.

Minimum Requirements

1. Diploma, BTech/MTech, BSc / Beng or MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering.
2. Registered with ECSA as a Candidate (advantageous).
3. Minimum of 3 to 8 years’ experience in earthworks and municipal infrastructure.
4. Design experience.
5. Proficient in AutoCAD.
6. Proficient in Civil 3D.
7. Proficient in Microsoft suite.
8. Knowledge and experience of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. Excellent organisational skills (ability to plan and implement) and time management skills.
11. General understanding of BIM processes. Working knowledge will be advantageous.
