KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

1. Record inspections, tests, and work executed.
2. Monitor the review of the contractor's documents / shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systems.
3. Preparing daily logs and reports.
4. Monitor and ensure that all civil / structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan / drawings / codes and specifications.
5. Monitor safety aspects when dealing with civil / structural installations.
6. Perform and evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil / structural finishes, and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil / structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statement.
7. Field checks placement, location, and quality of civil / structural finishes, building structure components.
8. Perform civil / structural inspections and material inspections.
9. Ensure compliance of civil / structural works to design requirements, specifications, and project plan.
10. Implement and enforce Lesedi NS and Eskom SHEQ procedures.
11. Verify health and safety plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
12. Manage construction documentation and quality assurance processes.

QUALIFICATION

Civil / Construction tertiary education: Diploma or higher.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years' experience on a construction site.

ITP & QCP development and monitoring experience.

Site inspections & verifications.

Building / Construction jobs.
