Cisco Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Security Specialist to design, implement, and manage robust security solutions across our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will leverage Cisco's cutting-edge technologies to safeguard our organization against evolving cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage security solutions using Cisco Firepower, Cisco Duo, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Web Security Appliances.
2. Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.
3. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
4. Continuously monitor network traffic to identify unusual activity and potential threats.
5. Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to streamline incident response processes.
7. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
8. Ensure security systems align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Prepare and present detailed security reports to management and stakeholders.
10. Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and the use of security tools.
11. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or CISSP are highly desirable.
3. Proven hands-on experience in managing Cisco security solutions including Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Cisco Duo for multifactor authentication, Cisco Umbrella for cloud-delivered security, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Web Security Appliances, and Cisco Secure Client.
4. Strong understanding of network security principles, practices, and protocols.
