Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
Advise, define, and orchestrate the Business Unit (BU) technology strategy to implement, deliver and report on the end-to-end technology solutions to deliver on business outcomes.

Own the required BU technology blueprints, systems and toolbox in alignment with Group Technology, BU and country requirements, to deliver the desired client experiences through the fast flow of work, constant feedback and a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accountable for the shared execution of the BU technology mandate for Countries.
2. Act as the BU representative and participate in the relevant Technology Governance forums across the Group.
3. Advise BU and report into the BU Chief Executive on the appropriate strategic technology plan to drive the right outcome for the client across all markets.
4. Align and adopt the domain minimum standards (Group Technology toolbox, inclusive of practices) and contribute towards the upkeep of the toolbox artefacts.
5. Align and integrate the BU technology blueprint with other BU technology plans to ensure priorities and objectives are met for defined customer journeys.
6. Apply best practice risk management techniques to optimise speed to market.

Qualifications:
Post Graduate Degree (Business Commerce / Information Technology) - Minimum
Masters Degree - Preferred

Experience Required:

1. 5-7 years: Knowledge and experience of DevOps, Agile and Lean frameworks, methods and practices and experience in being a catalyst for organisational change.
2. Experience in full lifecycle design and development covering multi-tier environments and markets.
3. Leadership / management experience working with individuals and teams from diverse cultures.
4. Proven track record of delivery.
5. Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
6. 8-10 years: Significant experience managing technology in large, high-volume, complex multi-dimensional corporate environment, preferably banking or financial industry.
7. Managing delivery of 3rd parties and Africa Region experience.
8. Industry and market knowledge; with business acumen and different ownership models.
9. Experience working in a multi-vendor and outsourced IT environment.
