Chief Technology Officer

Our esteemed client in Sandton is urgently seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on either a permanent or contract basis. The ideal candidate must have retail background or experience. As the CTO, you will lead the digital transformation of their automotive dealership, integrating AI-driven solutions with existing websites, CRM systems, and sales and aftersales processes. Your mission will be to revolutionize the car-buying and aftersales experience by deploying AI sales and service agents, optimizing customer journeys, and leveraging data to drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader who can bridge technology, sales, customer experience, and retention to position the dealership as a disruptor in automotive retail.

Minimum Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, IS, Business Technology or related field
2. Retail expertise mandatory – always on audience
3. Experience in Digital Transformation with CRM platforms and websites
4. Experience with AI integration tools like chatbots and predictive analytics
5. At least 5 years plus technology experience at a senior level managing multiple technologies and tools.
6. Experience in developing and executing a robust IT strategy that aligns with the group's business objectives for all its brands and sales requirements.
