Chief Technical Officer

We are seeking a Director of Medical Staff Services to oversee the Medical Staff Services Department at a premier healthcare facility.

In this pivotal role, you will ensure proper credentialing and privileges for physicians and other medical staff, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading and managing the Medical Staff Services and Credential Verification Office.
2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
3. Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Chief Medical Officer to support credentialing and privileging processes.
4. Supervise a team of three Credentialing Specialists.
5. Drive operational efficiency and maintain excellent service standards within the department.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business-related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Dual certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services as a CPMSM (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) and CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist).
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing credentials verification and medical staff services.
