Chief Operations Officer

Duration : 3 Years

Paterson Grade : E-Lower

Salary Range : R818 400 - R1 636 800 per annum

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the CEO in setting and executing organizational vision and operational strategies.
• Oversee daily operations, driving employee productivity and fostering a highly inclusive workplace culture.
• Lead strategic planning, policy development, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and the effective operation of the organization.
• Set performance goals, monitor operational plans, and contribute to annual performance reporting.
• Liaise with internal auditors to identify and mitigate strategic and operational risks.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements :

• Relevant degree at honours level (mandatory)
• Masters in Business or additional relevant qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum of 15 years working experience
• Minimum of 3 years at Executive Management level
• Knowledge of :
• National Credit Act
• Relevant labour legislation
• Public Finance Management Act
• Other applicable legislation
• Strong leadership, operational management, and strategic planning skills
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience in risk management and compliance oversight
