Job Description:

Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:

• Lead cost-efficiency initiatives to reduce expenses
• Collaborate with the financial director to secure funding for operations
• Oversee and review the budgeting processes
• Manage the accounting function
• Research funding sources, develop fundraising plans, and write proposals to increase funds
• Develop contingency plans and strategies for continuous improvement
• Provide transformational leadership to raise performance standards
• Work with operational leaders to align the company’s vision and approach
• Drive continuous improvement and hold leaders accountable for progress
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance, accelerate growth, and improve margins
• Foster a people-focused culture, empowering teams while staying involved in details
• Coach and mentor the finance management team to improve performance
• Ensure financial systems are robust, compliant, and scalable
• Act as a champion for financial systems within the organization
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Managing Director and Board

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 10 years experience in finance

Minimum of 5 years in the FMCG

Minimum of 5 years senior management position

Qualification:

Registered CA(SA) – non-negotiable
