Job description

Our esteemed client, a leading strategic outsourcing partner in the South African facilities management sector, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer with specialized experience in Facility Management, particularly in Contract Cleaning. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and the continuous enhancement of operational processes, ensuring both profitability and business growth. The COO will be responsible for delivering the company’s security and hygiene services efficiently, meeting client expectations, and adhering to all relevant regulations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in a senior operational role within the FMCG industry, specifically in Facility Management - Contract Cleaning.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Leadership: Ability to inspire, lead, and manage a large, diverse team.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.
  • Client Focus: Strong client management skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions.
