• Matric
• Mechanical Degree or similar

Requirements

• Experience in managing projects and providing product support and rendering services in the bitumen industry
• Financial knowledge in managing budgets

Duties

1. Manage the day to day running of the workshop in conjunction with the Workshop Forman
2. Quotes for retrofits and upgrades of plants
3. Tracking costings and better ways to design and build engineering parts
4. Working with the Project Managers and Draughtsperson to draw up all manufactured items and store in hard copy and electronically
5. Pre-commissioning and commissioning of any plant that is manufactured in the workshop
6. Liaise with customers regarding what is required in terms of design, fabrication, and commissioning
7. Mentoring and growing key employees in engineering skills and management
8. Working with the MD and Sales & Marketing department to better sell the products into Africa
