Chief Operating Officer

Our client is an insurance provider known for innovation, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. They are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Operations Officer (COO) with a strong operational background in insurance to lead their operational functions and drive sustainable growth.

As the COO, you will oversee all operational aspects of the company, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement in service delivery. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute business strategies, optimize processes, and enhance overall operational performance. The COO will be responsible for strategy and overseeing and optimizing post-sales insurance operations, including customer services, retentions, and claims management.

Requirements

1. 8-10 years of experience in insurance operations, with a proven track record in leadership roles
2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
3. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is advantageous
4. Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, underwriting, claims, and policy administration
5. Experience in operational strategy, process optimization, and digital transformation
6. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
