Chief Financial Officer (Public Sector)

We are recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer (Public Sector) position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a close liaison with the accounting authority and the executive team
• Responding to changing needs for financial information and advice
• Contributing to the financial aspects of the strategic planning process
• Ensuring that internal financial targets and budgets are fully consistent with the strategic plan and relevant agreements with the Accounting Authority and other regulatory bodies
• Managing working capital, assets and liabilities
• Managing the accounting and finance staff
• Managing expenditure
• Managing revenue.

Qualifications:

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualifications
• BCom degree or Equivalent qualification
• National Diploma or No relevant qualifications
