Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join them in Midrand, Gauteng. The purpose of the CFO role is to strategically position the Company for long-term growth and to deliver value to the shareholder. The CFO will be responsible for the conceptualization, development and implementation of the financial strategy, governance framework and financial management systems.

Geographical area: Midrand, Gauteng
Salary range: Market Related

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• Managing 17 employees within Finance, IT, Procurement and Stores departments
• Managing Cashflow, Financial Reporting, Financial operations and Governance & Controls

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• BCom Financial Accounting / CIMA / CA(SA)
• 5-7 years in manufacturing / construction / defence industries
• Knowledge of IT Systems such as Syspro
• Management of Procurement and warehousing
• Management of accounting systems
