Chief Financial Officer

Job Description:
As the Chief Financial Officer, your duties and responsibilities include the following:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive financial and operational strategies, with clear metrics aligned to business goals
2. Continuously enhance and monitor control systems designed to safeguard company assets
3. Ensure accurate financial reporting
4. Oversee the integrity of the General Ledger
5. Ensure proper control, maintenance and management of accurate reporting
6. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of Group monthly management accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, budgets and forecasts
7. Ensure compliance with IFRS
8. Establish and maintain a robust monthly reporting process across the Group
9. Ensure consistency and discipline
10. Prepare and review financial pack submissions for Audit Committee and Board meetings
11. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of IFRS financial reporting figures across the group
12. Provide timely and relevant financial data and information requested by management for informed decision making
13. Lead monthly financial review and budgeting/forecasting meetings to track and analyze financial performance
14. Oversee the maintenance of the Group Companies’ Limits of Authority
15. Contribute to the Integrated Reporting process
16. Ensure a comprehensive succession plan is in order for senior management positions
17. Facilitate proper training and development for all personnel involved in the finance department
18. Manage the Finance team
19. Provide guidance and foster development opportunities for direct reports to enhance professional growth

Skills & Experience:
10-15 years of experience in financial management
Manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous
Good business and commercial acumen
Forex experience
Proficiency in MS Office and other financial software

Registered CA(SA)
