Seeking a Snr Network Security Engineer in Woodmead.

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure network solutions for enterprise-level environments. This includes handling network design, architecture, and security configurations to safeguard organizational assets while ensuring scalability and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will lead the network security team, oversee large-scale projects, and provide expert-level client engagement while adhering to ISO standards.

3. Firewall Design and Management - work with Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint firewalls
4. Project Planning and Execution

Additional Duties:

1. Provide level 3 Support for complex network and Security issues.
2. Monitor and manage security tools and platforms, ensuring consistent uptime.
3. Stay updated on emerging technologies and security threats, recommend solutions.

Qualifications Required:

1. CompTIA Network+
2. CompTIA Security+
3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
4. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
5. MS- : Microsoft Fundamentals
6. Fortinet NSE certifications (required)
7. Other firewall vendor certifications would be advantageous

Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network design, security architecture, and firewall management.
2. Proven track record of handling enterprise-level networks and security environments.
3. Experience in leading teams and managing projects effectively.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Expertise in advanced network security technologies, protocols, and architectures.
2. In-depth experience with Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and additional vendor-neutral security best practices.
3. Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, etc.).
4. Advanced skills in VPN configuration, SD-WAN, and secure remote access solutions.
5. Expertise in handling advanced persistent threats (APTs), zero-day vulnerabilities, and threat hunting.
6. Ability to design enterprise-level secure network infrastructures, including hybrid and multi-cloud integrations.
7. Proficient in security frameworks such as ISO and CIS benchmarks.
8. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
