Job description

Winning Form has an exciting opportunity available for a Chief Executive Officer (Winning Form Group) to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the strategic, financial and operational leadership and management of the group’s diverse portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible to lead and drive efficiency, profitability, growth and sustainability across all business units.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Computer Literacy
  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in Senior Leadership roles
  • Experience in a multi-disciplined organization
  • Experience in strategic leadership at an executive management level in Food & Beverage, Supply Chain, Imports & Exports, Manufacturing & Audiovisual eventing industries.
Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
  • Identify and evaluate current business opportunities and gaps and develop short- and long-term strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure organizational alignment with evolving industry trends and best practices.
  • Drive organizational change to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
  • Set the standard for leadership through exemplary conduct, work ethic, integrity, and character.
  • Responsible for regularly assessing business systems, products and services, business risks and ensuring that they link into organisational strategies.
Operational Oversight And Management

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring resources are managed efficiently with regard to cost, time, and quality.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational success.
  • Implement effective systems and processes to optimize productivity and efficiency by monitoring actual results against budgeted outcomes and develop strategies to address weak performance or declining trends.
Staff Leadership And Development

  • Motivate staff and communicate organizational strategies and projects to subordinates.
  • Foster a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provide direct management and mentorship to direct reports.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce.
  • Ensure adequate succession planning.
Compliance And Governance

  • Ensure compliance with legal and all relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks to safeguard the organization’s assets and reputation.
  • Oversee BEE strategy and implement strategies to achieve targets and objectives.
Financial Oversight

  • Analyse financial performance and implement strategies for cost control and profitability ensuring financial health and sustainability.

Any reasonable Adhoc duties.
