Chief Executive Officer (Ceo) Retail

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership :
   • Define and execute the company's long-term vision and strategy with a focus on growth and profitability to ensure competitiveness in the retail sector.
   • Identify opportunities for expansion, diversification, and innovation in retail offerings.
2. Operational Excellence :
   • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
   • Ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
   • Oversee the management of physical stores, including customer experience, visual merchandising, and employee engagement.
   • Drive operational excellence.
   • Ensure the company delivers a seamless omnichannel experience.
   • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
   • Oversee product category management and development.
   • Drive margin growth.
3. Financial Leadership :
   • Lead the company's financial strategy, ensuring profitability, cost control, and long-term financial sustainability.
   • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics specific to the retail environment.
   • Evaluate pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product mix to maximize revenue and profitability.
4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement :
   • Develop and implement strategies to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
   • Analyze customer data and feedback to inform business decisions.
   • Foster a customer-first culture.
   • Build and maintain strong trade supplier & key stakeholder relationships.
5. Digital Transformation :
   • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce and digital strategy.
   • Leverage technology and data analytics to drive business insights.
6. Culture and Talent Leadership :
   • Inspire and lead a high-performing team.
   • Work closely with management to attract, retain, and develop diverse top retail talent.
   • Implement strategies for employee engagement.
   • Foster a positive company culture.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following :

1. Experience and Expertise :
   • Proven track record as a CEO / MD or in a senior executive role in the retail industry, with strong operational and commercial acumen.
   • Deep understanding of retail dynamics, including store operations, e-commerce, merchandising, supply chain, and consumer behaviour.
   • Demonstrated success in scaling retail businesses, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications :

1. Education :
   • Suitable qualification.
2. Experience :
   • Minimum 10+ years of senior management experience in the retail industry, with at least 5 years in a CEO or equivalent role.
   • Demonstrated success in implementing omnichannel strategies, scaling retail businesses, and managing complex retail operations.
