Chief Executive Officer

Job Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead and manage the strategic direction and operations of our well-established professional body dedicated to promoting and enhancing financial management and related professions within the public sector.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the public sector, non-profit, or professional body environment, preferably in the finance or audit fields.
3. Proven track record of successful strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight.
4. Strong knowledge of public sector regulations, compliance standards, and the financial management landscape.
5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, and members.
7. Demonstrated experience in managing a membership-based organisation and promoting member growth and engagement.
8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve organisational objectives.
