SALES COORDINATOR

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate needs to be a proactive and confident individual who is focused on producing high quality, detail-orientated work in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work at the Fruitways Marketing Office in Somerset West.

Responsibilities

1. Processing purchase orders (PO) in the operational system by allocating and pricing stock.
2. Issue loading instructions to packing operations in line with the customer PO.
3. Working closely with in-house logistics team to ensure that orders are loaded according to PO.
4. Assist the sales team in tracking sales data, and generating exception reports.
5. Ensure timely order processing and delivery, guaranteeing exceptional customer satisfaction.
6. Maintain and update customer databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
7. Retailer reconciliation of accounts, update and maintain.
8. Sending out availability and following up on sales orders with buyers.
9. Create invoices and statements after loading and distributing this to customers.
10. Follow up on payments and allocating funds received in line with agreed terms.
11. Update volumes shipped against those agreed and report on these both internally and externally.
12. Working closely with the larger sales administration team to provide support.
13. Timely and professional handling of customer queries.

Requirements

1. Tertiary qualification or Matric with proven industry experience.
2. 2-3 years administrator/coordinator experience.
3. Knowledge of QX or another fruit operational system will be advantageous.
4. Good financial understanding of debtors will be advantageous.
5. Ability to work accurately under pressure.
6. Professional written and verbal communication skills.
7. Computer literacy – Proven experience or knowledge of Excel highly preferable.
